NEW HANOVER COUNTY NC (WECT) – The Laney Bucs opened the season with a 7-6 loss to Jacksonvile on the road, but that didn’t stop them from taking the lead in week two.
In Buctown Saturday, Laney played host to Union and it didn’t take long for Laney to find the end zone.
Union struck back scoring two touchdowns, but it wouldn’t be enough. Laney won 21-14.
