NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Firefighters worked together to battle flames overnight at an office off Murrayville Road.

According to New Hanover County Fire Chief Donnie Hall, the fire was reported around 11:45 Monday night, but firefighters were on the scene until around 5:00 Tuesday morning.

Fire and smoke poured from the building when crews arrived, and officials said a boat and tractor were also involved in the fire.

Crews shut down the 6200 block of Murrayville Road while firefighters worked to clear the fire. That road has since been reopened.
