WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Cape Fear Community College will be upgrading its campus telephone system next weekend and as a result normal college phone services will be unavailable from Friday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. until Monday, Nov. 12 at 7:30 a.m.
Exterior campus emergency phones will remain operational during the outage. This temporary disruption will affect phones at the downtown Wilmington Campus, North Campus in Castle Hayne, and the Burgaw Center.
The college is upgrading out-of-date telephone equipment to more modern technology. All services are expected to be functioning normally before the start of business on Monday, Nov. 12.
