WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Scotts Hill Baptist Church’s military ministry will host its third annual Military Families Conference Saturday.
The event, “A Day of Hope 2012” will take place at the church’s Cross Point Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
According to a press release, the two-part conference is designed to provide a day of hope, encouragement, support and fun for all military wives, fiancés, girlfriends, mothers and female service members.
Registration for the event is $10 and includes lunch, door prizes, music, games, discussions and more. Free childcare will be available for children up to sixth grade.
A men’s event will run the same day from 10-11:30 a.m. and features a guest speaker, breakfast, basketball, door prizes and more. Registration for the men’s event is free.
