NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Have you ever thought about signing your kids up for hockey?
If so, now is the perfect time to let them try out the sport before committing to a team.
The Wilmington Ice House, along with the Coastal Carolina Hockey Association, is allowing children ages 4-10 to give hockey a shot – for free -- Saturday, Feb. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., according to a flyer.
The first 15 players to reserve a spot will be provided with full hockey equipment.
Participants are asked to bring a bike helmet or similar type of helmet, along with snow/ski gloves.
