Grant money helps buy musical instruments, iPads | Children
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The Landfall Foundation has awarded New Hanover County Schools approximately $54,000 in grants. A total of ten schools will directly benefit from the grants, while other partnering programs received grants that will impact student success.
The Murray Middle School orchestra was given $4,343 for new musical instruments to be used by students from year to year.
Additionally, Murrayville Elementary School was awarded $5,000 to purchase ten iPads, accessories, and apps for 48 kindergarten students.
