WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - There's a Zumbathon planned to help raise money for local military families.
Stacey Moulder is a Zumba instructor at Gold's Gym off Racine, and now she wants to help raise money for The Wounded Warrior Project. Moulder said her husband has been in the military for at least ten years, so she understands what families go through and how important The Wounded Warrior Project is for them.
Moulder hopes she can raise $1,000.
"This is the first one that I'm hosting," said Moulder. "I'm super excited."
The Zumbathon is Saturday, January 26th. It starts at 12:30 p.m. and lasts until 2:30. Tickets cost $10. You can buy them in advance at any Gold's Gym in Wilmington or you can purchase them at the door. Moulder says she is also doing a raffle.
