Laney High School senior organizing fundraiser to benefit Pop Warner cheerleaders | Business

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – A Laney High School student will be hosting a fundraiser soon as part of his senior project.

According to a news release from student Ryan Smith, he will be hosting a fundraising auction Nov. 3, with all proceeds going towards the Coastal Pop Warner Bengal Midget Cheerleaders. The event will be held at Northside Baptist Church Activity Center, located at 2501 N. College Rd.

There will be a live auction, silent auction and bake sale. Admission to get in is $1 per person, and children 3 and under are free. The cost includes a raffle ticket.

Smith is asking area businesses to consider donating gift certificates, gift baskets, and promotional items for the event.
