NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – More than 100 grams of cocaine and almost 40 bags of heroin were found Monday in a hotel room on Market Street.
New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Detectives arrested two men after a search warrant was executed on their hotel room, located at 4926 Market Street, according to Sergeant J. J. Brewer. He said that more than 110 grams of cocaine, in both powder and crack versions, valued at more than $10,000 were found inside the room. Brewer said that 39 bags of heroin were also found.
Oscar Jordan, 34, and Desmond Lamont Chapman, 21, were arrested and were in the New Hanover County Detention Facility under a $100,000 secured bond at the time of this post.
